Well, it's been 14 years since I've even thought about this blog. In fact, I forgot about it! That doesn't mean that I never think about my experiences in the East. Just the opposite! Sometimes the memories are so strong, it seems they happened just yesterday.
Das Buch, über dem ich früher geschrieben habe, ist immernoch nicht verfertigt. Ich habe aber 4 Kapiteln und Inhalt geschrieben. Also, ich glaube es wird eines Tages komplettet. Früher noch später ist mein Ziel.
The book that I wrote about earlier is still not finished. I have, however, written 4 chapters and the table of contents. So, I think someday it will be completed. Sooner than later is my goal.
Eigentlich, ich wollte nur dies sagen: das Werk ist nicht vergessen. Ich weiß nicht ob dieses Medium das richtige ist, meine Gedanken zu organisieren und hoffentlich Gesprächen zu beginnen. Aber es ist was ich schon habe, also...soll ma weitermachen?
Actually, I just wanted to say this: the task is not forgotten. I don't know if this is the right medium to organize my thoughts and hopefully begin some conversations. But it is what I have, so...shall we continue?
Noch was! Ich werde versuchen alles in Deutsch und Englisch zu schreiben. Leider ist meine Deutsch Kenntnisse nicht so gut als früher. Und doch, kommen die Gedanken über der Zeit im Osten immer zuerst auf Deutsch in meinem Kopf. So ist es! Und damit fange ich wieder an! Schön dass Sie hier sind. Danke!
Ah, one more thing! I will try to write everything in German and English. Unfortunately, my skills in the German language aren't as good as they once were. And yet, thoughts about the time in the East are always in German first. That's just the way it goes. And with that, I'll get started! It's nice that you are here. Thanks!
